About me
For the founder of the Mando Mercs Costume Club, being a Mandalorian fan goes all the way back to 1983, a five year old sitting in the theater watching Boba Fett fall into the Sarlacc Pit in “STAR WARS: Return of the Jedi.
In 2007, Tom Hutchens founded the Mando Mercs Costume Club (MMCC), becoming one of the largest and the oldest clubs for Mandalorian costumes and fans. Tom has also directly contributed to Mandalorian fandom through his work on the Official Star Wars Blog from 2013 - 2015. His most well-known articles being: “Mandalorian Mysteries” and “The Art of Mandalorian Armor”. Tom also assisted as a collaborator on “Bounty Hunter Code: From the Files of Boba Fett”, where his Mandalorian character “Mandalore the Uniter” would make their second appearance in Legends material.
Today, Tom has been mostly around the world meeting and sharing adventures with Mando Mercs members and Mandalorian fans. A disabled USN veteran and stroke survivor, Tom and his wife live in Mocksville, North Carolina.
