About me
Jennifer double majored in Theatre and Physics at the University of NC Greensboro and went to Westmore makeup academy. From there she followed her path into Film starting with Taking Liberty in 1990.
She has worked on John Adams, which won an Emmy for makeup, and The Eyes of Tammy Faye, which won an Academy award for makeup. From independent films to union projects, she has worked on all 4 seasons of the Righteous Gemstones, as well as on the Outer Banks, The Conjuring, Halloween Kills, The Hunger Games, The Box, June Bug, and Last Lives, just to name a few of the over 50 films or TV in which she has been involved.
In addition, Jennfer has taught to film students for 15 years including traveling to Vietnam last year to teach and work on a film. During the same trip, she traveled to New Zealand to visit Hobbiton and take a few classes at Weta Workshop!
Some of her favorite things include Alton Brown, food, fantasy, science and science fiction, singing, theme parks and rides, sewing and making costumes, world travel, film making, robots, and building things.
She is currently learning 3D printing, Z brush, and looking for a new class to take. She believes we should never stop learning.
